I consider myself a decent handyman and do-it-yourselfer. There's not much I won't take on around the house. Today's do-it-myself task involved replacing a leaky shower head. A simple enough task consisting of unscrewing the old one from the 1/2" pipe end, cleaning any old residue from threads and snugging on the new shower head.
But then I remembered I would need to wrap Teflon tape on the pipe thread before screwing on the shower head. I had a roll of Teflon tape so no problem there. But then it was that age old quandary. Which way do I wrap the tape? Thank goodness for the Internet as a quick search gave me the answer.
